1. Lock the folder
On the main interface of BuduLock, select the card Folder Lock. School Open the Folder to Lock / Unlock list drives and folders on your computer. To lock any folder, browse to that folder and then double-click on it.
Next, you press the button Lock, enter password to protect folder in the box Enter Password and press OK.
In Windows Explorer, the locked folder will have a yellow padlock icon. This folder cannot be opened by others.
If you want to unlock the folder, double-tap the locked folder, then tap Unlock. Then enter your unlock password in the box Enter Password and press OK.
2. Disable USB port
Besides locking important folders, BuduLock also helps you to prevent others from using the USB drive on your device by disabling the USB port.
You switch to cards Flash Drive Lock to use this feature. First you press Change Password To set up the password, enter the same password in the two boxes New Password and Re-enter New Password (leave the box blank Current Password), then press OK.
Next, you check the box Disable Flash Drive, then press the button Execute to disable the USB port.
When you want to open the USB port, you check the box Enable Flash Drive, enter the password in the box Password, then press OK.
Note: You must disable the User Control Account feature of Windows Vista / 7 to use BuduLock’s USB port disable feature, but this feature is not available in Windows Vista Starter Edition..
