Instructions for installing and using Photo Stage
The installation will take place very quickly. After clicking Accept in the first dialog box, in the following dialog box, the software will ask if you want to install additional software from the same manufacturer or not. Here, you remove all checkmarks (leave no settings attached), and then press the button finish to complete the installation.
Create the Slide as you like
Using the software is fairly simple. From the main interface, press select Add Photos and Media files to add image files and music files to the software library.
Then, use the right mouse button, drag and localize to select all the files you have added to the software library, then click the ‘Add to show’ button to make these image files ready for slide content.
After putting the entire file on the slide, you select any image file on the slide to add motion effects to that image. After selecting this image file, the above dialog box will appear, providing a list of effects that you can choose from to apply to the image.
You can select multiple effects simultaneously with 1 image. Once selected, you can press the Play button in the right dialog to preview the selected effect.
Note: if you click multiple effects, the effects will overlap, this sometimes makes the slide become messy. The list of effects selected will be listed by the software. Any effect is not needed, you can press the X button to remove.
Select each slide in turn to add effects to the image.
After adding all the effects, you select ‘Add transitions’ and then select the effects to convert images between slides. This is an intermediate effect, when finishing a slide and moving on to a new slide.
Here, you can choose a suitable effect and then press the button Play in the video viewer on the right to preview the effect. Continue to do each slide in turn.
Item Record Narration allows users to record their own voice, in case you want to send a message, or show it yourself to insert the slide.
Normally, when adding Media files (in step 1), you will add music files as background for the slide. However, by default, users will have to manually adjust the length of each slide to match the length of the music file. This can sometimes take a long time.
To fix this and to have the music file length match the slide show length, right click on the sound item on the slide (with the note icon), select Fit slides to the audio track duration, then press the button Change lengths in the dialog box that appears.
The length of the slide show files on the slide will now be automatically adjusted to fit the length of the music file used as the background.
After performing the editing steps, adding effects to the slide … click the button Save Slideshow on the menu.
