Sqirlz Water Reflections has many effects such as creating ripples and circles on the water surface, creating rain and snow for images.
The first step is to choose a neat photo without too much detail so that the product looks the most natural, usually lakes, rivers, snowy mountains … with a fairly clear horizon.
Then open the program Sqirlz Water Reflections, select Open on the menu bar to bring the image to the process window.
Click on the red ellipse icon in the vertical menu and then use this mouse to select the closed area to an effect on the image, by left-clicking the starting point and the next point, ending with right mouse.
The first 3 options in the menu as shown below correspond to how to create waves (Basic Ripples), create circles (Ring Ripples) and rain / snow (Rain / Snow).
Here, users can change many characteristics of the waves such as the magnitude, the contrast between the waves …; circle (must be combined with rain) such as number of circles, width, speed of spread …; of rain / snow such as number of snowflakes, travel speed, direction of movement, transparency …
Example of creating ripples: The photo below has a fairly clear horizon. Click the Basic Ripples icon: one is OK to accept the default settings, the other is to test each item. Click the 4th icon which is Rain / Snow and Ripples Combination> Basic Ripples Only> OK. Example of creating snow: The selected image has a roof, so when selecting a snowy area avoid this part. Then, click Rain / Snow> check the Snow box and select the snow thickness, the size of the snowflake, the main snow direction (rotate the red arrow parallel to the direction of the person) and the ability to fly in multiple directions of one. number of snowflakes (creating variety to look more realistic). This example chooses small snowflakes, moderate speed … In these items, the user can comfortably align to achieve the most reasonable results.
